Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional)

Notes

Cooking Steps:
  1. In a large skillet or pot, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic in the turkey bacon drippings until softened.
  3. Add green beans, chicken broth, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Cover and simmer for 30-35 minutes until beans are tender.
  5. Stir in apple cider vinegar (if using) and cooked turkey bacon. Mix well.
