- 1 tbsp salt (for boiling water)
For the Elk Sauce:
- 1 lb ground elk meat
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 can (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- ½ cup beef or vegetable broth
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)

Cooking Steps:
