Ingredients

  • 4 slices thick bread (Brioche or Texas Toast)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • cups crushed cornflakes
  • 1 tbsp butter (for frying)
  • Maple syrup & fresh fruit (optional, for serving)

Notes

Cooking Steps:
  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  2. Place crushed cornflakes in a separate shallow bowl.
  3. Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture, coating both sides well.
